Long Island Water is a coalition of organizations dedicated to protecting and preserving our unique maritime environment and our ancient aquifer-fed water supply. This site is maintained by Grassroots Environmental Education, a science-based non-profit organization located in Port Washington.
The two seasons of Water Matters were produced by Grassroots with funding from the Long Island Community Foundation and the Claire Friedlander Family Foundation. We are very grateful for their support.
We have produced many print materials that can be used by, and branded for, local civic and community organizations. These materials are offered at no cost, although donations are always welcome.
