Organic Lawns

Reducing the use of pesticides and high nitrogen fertilizers is critical to improving water quality.
High nitrogen fertilizers run off into surface water and contribute to algal blooms and other problems. Pesticides from residential and agricultural use can contaminate our aquifers or run off into bays and streams, harming wildlife. As a result many homeowners on Long Island are choosing to maintain their lawn naturally - and the results are great for everyone!
